Apollo Awards in Corfu
The Apollo Nordic event in Corfu on April 2nd was a great success.
Mrs. Nina Hornewall, Commercial Director Apollo, accompanied by Mr. Christos Christou, Contract Manager Apollo, Ms. Viktoria Ahlenius, Regional Manager Apollo, as well as the Destination Manager of DTS Incoming Hellas, a member of the DER Touristik group, Mr. Nikos Aspiotis, presented Tour Operator Apollo in the Scandinavian market in Corfu.
She presented the forecast of arrivals for the 2024 season as well as the company’s plans for 2025. She also presented the group’s new company in the Dutch market starting from 2023.
As part of the event, awards were given to the Corfu hotels that had a high rating from customer comments for the 2023 season.
The Hotels in order of awards are as follows:
Anastasia, Nasos Hotel, La Riviera Barbati, Delfinia Hotel, Cook’s Club, Kontokali Bay, Marbella Corfu & Marbella Nido Suites & Villas, Angsana Corfu and The Olivar Suites.
In addition to the hoteliers of the Apollo program in Corfu, the event was attended by the Deputy Regional Manager for European Programs, Digital Transformation and Innovation Emilia Moschou, the Deputy Mayor of Tourism of Central Corfu Spyros Halikiopoulos, the Deputy Mayor of Tourism of the Municipality of South Corfu, Angeliki Skolariki, the Deputy Mayor of Tourism of the Municipality of North Corfu Nikos Cheirdaris, the President of Corfu Hotels Charalambos Voulgaris and the President of AOCTA, Dimitris Diavatis.
During her presentation, Mrs. Nina Hornewall predicted 12,000 passengers for 2024 in Corfu and the company’s goals, with the addition of new products in 2025, is to have over 15,000 passengers.
