The right hotel for every taste
Whether lifestyle hotel, all-inclusive resort or premium camp lodge: DER Touristik will be offering its guests even more target group-orientated accommodation with new hotels under its own hotel brands from summer 2024. “We are further sharpening the profiles of our existing hotel brands and aligning them even more closely with the needs of our guests. This is becoming increasingly important, as holidaymakers want individual holiday concepts – and this also applies to accommodation,” says Dr Ingo Burmester, CEO Central Europe DER Touristik Group.
In the coming season, the portfolio of DER Touristik hotel brands will consist of a total of 78 properties: 43 Sentido hotels, nine Aldiana, two Playitas resorts, two ananea hotels, ten Calimera resorts and 12 COOEE hotels.
ananea offers casual design near the beach
The lifestyle brand ananea, which was launched in 2023 with a hotel on Kos in Greece, is aimed at modern, style-oriented travellers. The ananea holiday concept is relaxed and combines the casual charm of boutique hotels with proximity to the beach. Next summer, the brand will also be opening a lifestyle hotel in Italy: In the south of Italy, in Calabria, another ananea will open. The hotel is nestled in a pine forest and the picturesque historic centre of Tropea is within walking distance. An adjoining beach club is also not far away. The new ananea will have 51 rooms and be furnished in an elegant industrial style.
The first long-haul ananea will also open in the Indian Ocean in 2025. Further hotels of the lifestyle brand will follow.
First Aldiana Club in Egypt
South of Hurghada, next to the new Sentido Naga Bay, the Aldiana Naga Bay will be the first Aldiana Club on the Red Sea in Egypt in 2024. It will be located directly on the beach with a saltwater lagoon. Divers will find their own diving school here. A large sports area will offer, among other things, an Olympic pool, three paddle tennis courts and six tennis courts. More than 50 of the 365 rooms have their own pool access.
Strong expansion at Sentido
The premium hotel brand Sentido, which is aimed at single travellers, couples and small families, is expanding with a total of eleven new hotels in 2024.
With the Sentido Khao Lak in Thailand, a third hotel is being added on the long-haul route. The resort is located directly on a long sandy beach in a small bay. The hotel has 214 rooms, five pools, two restaurants and three bars and can be met with breakfast, half board, full board or all-inclusive catering. Sentido has been represented with two hotels on the long-haul route since this winter: the Sentido Oblu Helengeli in the Maldives and the Sentido Heritance Negombo in Sri Lanka.
The Sentido Reef Oasis Suakin and the Sentido Naga Bay are two more of the brand’s hotels opening in Egypt. The luxurious all-inclusive plus resort Sentido Reef Oasis Suakin south of Marsa Alam is located on an extensive sandy beach with a coral reef in front of it. It offers a German-speaking diving centre, a lagoon-style pool, a lifestyle spa, a family area and an adults-only area. The Sentido Naga Bay will be built south of Hurghada, next to the new Aldiana Naga Bay, and will have 196 rooms, including various suites, Sentido Signature and swim-up rooms. The high-quality design of the resort appeals primarily to adults. In addition to a wide range of sports and wellness facilities, the new Sentido Naga Bay will also meet a lounge area with a library and a chill-out area on the beach.
The Sentido Lycus Beach near Alanya brings the number of Sentido hotels in Turkey to a total of four. Following a renovation this winter, the hotel will open next summer with 220 rooms, including family rooms with two bedrooms and a connecting door. Located directly on the beach, the resort with its many amenities offers the ideal conditions for a successful beach holiday. New: A children’s club, children’s entertainment and a pool for the little ones round off the family holiday.
The Sentido portfolio is also being expanded in Bulgaria: The Sentido Bellevue Beach, located on the popular Sunny Beach, will be the brand’s third hotel to open next summer. The all-inclusive resort offers a familiar, informal atmosphere with a top price-performance ratio. Most of the 270 rooms offer guests a view of the sea.
